Mission Statement
The mission of our organization is to build a supportive community network that links youth and their families to life skills, education, advocacy, and a dynamic network of services to transform lives.
Description
The "Network" is a non-for-profit that has been in existence since 2003 as a 501(c)3 incorporation. We have multiple services that we offer to youth, families, and adults who are at-risk of incarceration.
The services offered are:
COLLEGE TOURS AND COLLEGE FAIRS PROGRAM
GRADES 7-12
MENTORING PROGRAMS
1.) AGES 5-18 WITH A TEEN CAREER COMPONENT
2.) Caregivers Choice Program for children of Incarcerated
Parents
(Ages 5-18)
EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL SKILLS BUILDING PROGRAM
Youth, ages 17-24, graduated from High School with no
desire to attend college or youth that have not received a High School Diploma,
but desire to obtain their GED and Vocational Training.
GED AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM (with or without a stipend attached) For formerly Incarcerated Youth and Youth-at-Risk of being Incarcerated.
FORMERLY INCARCERATED PROGRAM Adults 18-60+
FAMILY LITERACY PROGRAMS: Ages 3-12 - Program Hours: 9:30a.m. - 12:30p.m. - Sat. only
Ages 2-18 - "TECHNIQUES IN CONCEPT LEARNING" - Partnering w/Harlem
Hospital Pediatric Department and the St. Nicholas Clinic
