Opportunities to spend just a few hours with targeted objectives, or LOTS of hours with more long range objectives. I did a 12 week assignment for 3-5 hours each week and really got a lot out of it, and think that the kids that I worked with did as well. The staff at JA Sacramento was very supportive and checked in to make sure I had what I needed, and were always available when I did have a question or issue. They really do serve a vital need and seem to make an impact years down the line with the kids and schools (and families) they serve.
