Mission Statement

The Student Academic Center has been established in order to insure quality education for students at Denfeld High School. Our goal is to improve the academic success of our students through additional educational support. We will do this by creating a motivational atmosphere and fostering relationships between students and mentors that instill a sense of pride and belonging in the students.

Description

The role of the tutor is to concentrate primarily on academic enrichment and support. At all times, the tutor should maintain a professional relationship with students and school personnel. If the tutor has concerns about a student?s home life or well-being, he or she must report those concerns to the tutoring coordinator.
