Mission Statement

YouthBuild DC Public Charter School’s mission is to transform the lives of out-of-school youth by offering, in English and Spanish, an academic and vocational program, employability training and an opportunity for youth to perform community service by creating housing for the city’s low income residents. The students at YouthBuild DC Public Charter School transform their lives while building the community.

Description

YouthBuild PCS gives young people the tools they need to transform their lives and communities through education, skill-building, and service. Students transform their lives by receiving: GED preparation; construction certification; internships; counseling; college preparation; computer technology training; and professional development.
