Description

The mission of The Salvation Army is to minister to the poverty stricken and disadvantaged people of Brown County. This will be done by: **Helping them to obtain their basic needs of food, clothing and housing. **Preaching the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to each person seeking help. **Creating a process to make it possible for individuals to change their lives for the better so that they can work, be independent , live a full Christian life an be a benefit to their community. **Identifying and utilizing the resources of our community and working to establish new resources where needed. We will be and effective organization of committed members who serve the people of our community. The focus will be on family, youth and seniors. The motive of the orgnaization is love of God and a practical concern for hte needs of humanity.
