Mission Statement

The mission statement of the Flagstaff Family Food Center is "Neighbors Serving Neighbors, Every Day." It is with the help of volunteers like you and your fellow neighbors that we can continue our work of providing healthy meals to families in Flagstaff.

Description

The Flagstaff Family Food Center has two locations: the Food Bank and Kitchen. The Food Bank provides food boxes to families and also partners with local agencies to provide food and other resources for their clients. The Kitchen provides a hot meal and brown bag lunches to our community every day of the year! The Kitchen is also where we provide a safe place for children to connect with volunteers and find a love of reading in the Paul Sweitzer Reading Room.

If you would like to volunteer at our Food Bank, Kitchen, or Reading Room, please contact us by email at volunteer@hotfood.org or by phone at (928) 526-2211.

There is a wonderful staff to work with here. No matter what the job., preping food, setting up the dining room, cleaning up indoors or outside, the time flies by. I always feel appreciated for any job I can help with. They serve a hot meal EVERY night of the year and there is always extra loaves of bread ( and usually other groceries ) to take home for free. It sure helps the homeless and needy people in this area.
