Supports and strengthens the arts throughout Ventura County by promoting quality arts education and learning through the arts; stimulating greater accessibility and public involvement in the arts; providing a clearinghouse of information and resources; expanding funding; promoting dialogue and mutual support among arts organizations and artists; and serving as a liaison and advocate for its local constituencies at a regional, state, and national level.

Description

The official State-Local Partner with the California Arts Council, the VCAC is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) public benefit organization governed by a Board of Directors which meets quarterly and an Executive Board which meets monthly.
