Integrating our Visionary Mentoring and Scholarship Program, our Performing Arts Center, and the usage of yearly camps for character development, Rooted for Life believes that we can assist in the contouring of bettering the next generation.
Description
Rooted for Life, Inc. (RFL) is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in May 2011. Our focus is to help develop the self-esteem, and value of our youth through the engaging of several integrity building programs.
Our Mentoring and Scholarship program partners with local churches that are incapable of offering financial assistance to their graduating congregants due to the lack of their own Scholarship Fund, acknowledging recipients during our annual Concert.
Our soon to open Basketball Camp promotes character building in the form of sports. Participants of JV Hoops Basketball Camp learn discipline, instruction, and team work while discovering an amazing level of self-pride, worth and acceptance.
Our impending Performing Arts Center is just the platform for all "drama" Queens (and Kings) to express themselves through acting, music, and dance. They will learn to constructively "vent" their frustrations, and for some... believe in themselves for the very first time.
