Don’t remember the exact date, but it was just before Christmas. The service being offered to families in need to get presents for their children is admirable- they clearly helped a lot of families. However, the coordination of volunteers was a bit frazzled. Just be flexible and jump in to help wherever you can. The mission is what matters.

AN ARMY OF VOLUNTEERS WORK IN THE SPIRIT OF GIVING AND RECEIVING AT SANTA CLAUS INC. WE PROVIDE SUPPORT TO FAMILIES IN NEED WHILE CREATING HOPE AND MAINTAINING DIGNITY. To preserve family dignity recipients are invited to the warehouse to choose these gifts for their children. We believe that unexpected joy on Christmas morning can carry a heart from childhood into worthy adulthood. My family has volunteered at Santa Claus Inc. since 1980. To date, they have served over a half a million local children and now distribute year-round.

Volunteering for Santa Claus, Inc. is the most rewarding experience I have ever had. Knowing that because of the efforts of the wonderful volunteers at least 11,000 underprivileged children have a happy Christmas each year, gives great satisfaction to all who work at Santa Claus, Inc. The associations and friendships formed within this organization are wonderful. Volunteers come to help and many end up staying for 50 or more years. Santa Claus, Inc. is a great place to volunteer because it does so much good for so many underprivileged children in the entire Inland Empire.
