Mission Statement

Florida Alliance of Search and Rescue K-9, Inc. (FASAR K-9) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer organization. Our non-profit corporation provides professionally trained and certified response teams for the purpose of searching for missing persons, either alive and/or presumed deceased, upon the request of any law enforcement agency or other official agency having jurisdiction and/or authorization. As always, our services are free of charge.

Description

Florida Alliance of Search and Rescue K-9, Inc, (FASAR K-9) offer's the following certified resources for deployment:

Handler's certified (minimum) as SAR Tech II ground support personnel, Crime Scene Preservation, First Aide, CPR Adult, Child & Infant, Haz Mat Awareness, Bloodbourne Pathogen, ICS 100, 200, 700, 800B, 809, and Amateur Radio opporators.

Canines certified in Trailing, Area Search, Disaster Live Find, Human Remains Detection Land, Water, Vehicle, Building & Disaster canines.

FASAR K-9 has an ATV for land deployment(s) and a Boat for water deployment(s).

FASAR K-9 works in conjunction with other Search and Rescue organizations therefore we are capable of providing services for both small and large scale operations.
