Unleashed transforms middle school girls - at a pivotal time in their lives - by engaging them as powerful leaders and social change agents, using animal welfare and puppy rescue as the training ground.

Description

Unleashed is a 12 week afterschool program that empowers middle school girls to be social change agents; learning to advocate for others, think critically about a complex social problem and most important, gain confidence in their ability to create impact and change in the world.

Girls work together as a team, learning hwo to collaboratem bring others along, increase awareness in their communities and work effectively with others depsite difference-the common cause and purpose levels the playing field.

The program is based on the founder's research looking at women and power and the founder's model of power and leadership development, integrating group dynamics and social action into the curriculum.
