Description

Helping Hands for Immigrants Integration Inc. (HHFii) was founded in 1997 by a group of Jamaicans who came to the United States to pursue further studies. They used their experience to reach out to other immigrants, especially foreign students, to facilitate their speedy integration in American Society. Outreach efforts were geared towards helping these students to avoid and/or surmount the stumbling blocks thy encountered on the way to the achievement of their goals. This commitment to helping other immigrants was formalized when the company was incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in New York in February 2002.
