"One unmatched treasure in Fort Worth is the outdoor playground of Hip Pocket Theatre." -American Theatre Magazine, 2003 Throughout Hip Pockets' celebrated history, coming upon its' 27th Anniversary Season, it has become widely known for its dedication to a unique vision of theatrical staging and its quiet determination to make a difference in the lives of our areas' young people. Hip Pocket Theatre is Fort Worth's only outdoor theatre and produces original works including adaptations of classic literature. HPT has produced over 200 plays with over 100 World premieres. HPT is internationally recognized for it's creative efforts and accomplishments and continues to be one of Fort Worth's unmatched treasures.
