Mission Statement

Share The Ranch at El Dustberry is committed to enhancing the lives of cancer patients and all those with special needs and enriching the minds of children by using horses and nature as a therapeutic tool. Our unique programs demonstrate gentle ways to care for and interact with horses. We believe that respecting nature and treating her creatures in a positive and loving manner creates a magical partnership between human and horse. This connection is a powerful tool in our programs and is based on a reciporcal trust that nurtures healing. We also believe this relationship enriches the minds of children while strengthening their self-confidence, self- esteem and self- awareness. Our intimate environment is a safe haven where we teach special relaxation techniques to our riders. These techniques coupled with the rhythmic and soothing gait of the horse are a therapeutic tool used to release tension and stress, and so promote emotional and spiritual healing.
