The Ohio Wildlife Center is a nationally recognized hospital for injured and orphaned wildlife, admitting over 4,500 wild animals of over 135 species each year. OWC is a volunteer-managed charitable organization with over 250 volunteers. OWC operates a 24 hour wildlife crisis infoline service, and volunteers speak to over 50,000 people each year in school and civic programs. Must be 16 or older to volunteer. Students 16-18 are restricted to specific duties. Extensive training for volunteers in wildlife handling, veterinary medicine and crisis response.
