Volunteer as front desk receptionist greeting visitors and welcoming them to the center. Answer the telephone & assist with necessary office tasks, provide personal attention on occasion (i.e. conversation, walking new members to classes), provide tours of the center, take payment for classes or registration/renewals. Purpose/Objective: Contribute to providing a healthy meal for seniors and people with disabilities at our Adult Day Health Center Location: Northshore Senior Center Health and Wellness Kitchen Bothell WA Time Commitment: Wednesday or Friday 10 am to 1:30 pm Key Responsibilities: Food Prep: assist in preparing the food according to proper health food guidelines and as assigned by the cook. All kitchen volunteers help with making sure all tasks are done and the kitchen is clean and organized at the end of the shift. If you need to miss a volunteer time, arrange for another trained volunteer to take that particular time. Work with the leader to be sure everything is done accurately. Qualifications: Able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds. Basic kitchen skills: cutting vegetable, cooking meats are a plus, but not a requirement. Must be friendly and hospitable. Must have current food handlers permit and submit a copy to Northshore Senior Center. Complete a volunteer application and background check. (These items will be completed prior to starting.) Training/Support Provided: One-on-one individual training provided. This training will be provided by an experienced volunteer, as assigned. Northshore Senior Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced volunteer Construction Project Manager to lead a construction and landscape project at our Bothell Senior Center. This project aims to create an active and engaging outdoor environment for our community. As the Construction Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. Your responsibilities may include: Collaborating with our team to develop a comprehensive plan for the project, including design specifications and timeline. Conducting research and sourcing materials, equipment, and vendors needed for the project. Coordinating with contractors, volunteers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation. Managing project budgets and expenditures. Providing regular updates to the project team and leadership on project status, challenges, and successes. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices throughout the construction process.

Thursday: 8:00am-11:00am or 11:00am-2:00pm Friday: 9:30am-1:00pm Northshore Adult Day Center and Health and Wellness Kitchen Food Prep, Service, Clean Up: Monday-Friday 10:00am-1:30pm. Choose your day! Tuesday, Thursday, Friday-Priority Location: Northshore Senior Center Adult Day Health Kitchen, Bothell WA: Time Commitment: Various Shifts Available; One day a week, Key Responsibilities: Cook organizes and assigns tasks, assists in cooking. Pack meals and prepare packets for food delivery. Food Prep people assist in preparing the food according to proper health food guidelines and as assigned by the cook.
