Mission Statement

The members of the Levy Volunteer Fire Department are challenged, not intimidated, by disaster and circumstance. We therefore resolve it as our mission to immediately and swiftly respond to emergencies, disasters, and acts of nature, with sure hands, knowledgable and well trained minds, and concerned hearts. We resolve to protect our community, all who live here as well as all who pass through, from the dangers and disasters that threaten or impose themselves on our community. We resolve to educate not only ourselves, but members of our community, in preventative measures as well as self-protection. We are the First Response, the las to leave, the refuge of the adult who is injured and the child who is afraid. It is our mission to serve them to our best ability.
