Mission Statement

Our mission is to mentor at-risk youth regarding the need for physical activity, smart nutritional choices, the environment and its impact within our lives and community. We do this by utilizing bikes and nature as tools to convey messages in a fun, educational manner -- teaching kids to ovecome obstacles on the trail and in life.

Description

Trips for Kids Metro DC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged youth in the Metropolitan DC area by providing important life lessons through fun and educational mountain bike excursions. We take kids into Virginia, Maryland and DC parks and wildlife areas, combining confidence-building bike trips with education on the environment and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
