Mission Statement

Legal Services of Northern Virginia was established in 1980 and our mission is to promote justice by providing free, high-quality legal advocacy and information for elderly, disabled, and low-income individuals and families who face the loss of a critical need, such as personal safety, income, housing, medical benefits, education, or family stability.

LSNV serves families and individuals in a variety of substantive legal areas, including family law, housing law, elder law, public benefits (including health care), child advocacy, education, employment law, consumer, and AIDS/HIV. We provide legal advice, representation in administrative hearings and in court, and community legal education, all without charge to our clients.

My study is Paralegal, I am interested to volunteer to learn and get more experience in this field. I want to gain as much experience I can before I complete my school, so I will be ready to be a hard independent worker.
