We are a county government in an approximately 300,000 person Colorado county. We have volunteer opportunities in areas such as parks, the environment, public safety, criminal justice, human services and public health.

Boulder County does a phenomenal job at connecting at-risk kids with adults who are committed to giving 9 months-1 year of their time, once a week, to mentor/tutor these children in need. This was an amazing experience for that I wouldn't change if I could. Yes, this will look good on my resume,but first and foremost, it helped a child in need. I watched this child change over the course of a year for the better.
