United Way of Ventura County is an independent local, nonprofit organization made up primarily of volunteet who work to raise and allocate funds for a broad range of human service agencies in our communities. Helping people make the best use of their charitable investments is the foundation of the United Way Campaign. While many charities have a single cause, the United Way campaign raises funds for many agencies providing a broad spectrum of services throughout our community. Funds are raised through an annual community-wide fundraising campaign that responds to the year-round assessment of problems, issues and services in Ventura County.
