The mission of WSTA is to educate, influence and promote an innovative and vital technology economy. WSTA envisions our community as collaborative, vibrant, and connected - where technology contributes to prosperity for our people and organizations.

Description

West Sound Technology Association (WSTA), a 501c3 not-for-profit association of IT, business, government, education, and non-profit leaders, users, and stakeholders, was formed in 2000 to share and enhance their rich intellectual capital for the benefit of its members, the community, and other organizations.

WSTA plays an important role in leading and engaging community base efforts to ensure key industries have the tools required - and that our citizens benefit from the opportunities being created in our regional and state economy. All industries increasingly rely on innovation and technology to remain competitive, so it is essential we cultivate a technologically savvy, adaptable workforce.

As a peer-to-peer best practice and nontraditional educational resource, WSTA has a fourteen year history in the region as a driver for a technology future in the West Sound, and bringing value to the larger STEM/technology conversation.
