Mission Statement

The Silver City Museum exists to collect, preserve, research and interpret for the public the regional history and objects related to the peoples of Southwest New Mexico in an accurate, balanced and professional manner.

Description

The Museum volunteer program is operated by the Silver City Museum Society formed to support the efforts of the municipal museum. Volunteering at the Silver City Museum is a wonderful way to meet interesting people from all over the world, to make friends, to learn about Southwest New Mexico history and to serve the community.
