Mission Statement
Mission Statement for Hospice of Medina County To provide the highest quality, supportive care through a medically directed, interdisciplinary team. To serve the terminally ill and their families, regardless of ability to pay. To enhance the quality of life and ensure the preservation of the fundamental dignity of our clients throughout the dying process in accord with the wishes and directives of the terminally ill and their families.
Description
Hospice is a special program that provides compassionate care for the terminally ill and their families. Hospice of Medina County knows that there are three main areas of concern for patients and their families: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Our interdisciplinary team of medical directors, registered nurses, social workers, home health aides, chaplains, volunteers, and bereavement counselors address these areas so that each day is full of comfort, quality, and dignity. Hospice of Medina County celebrates life. We help our patients, families, and caregivers to focus on living - living with comfort, joy, and support. Wherever you are - at home, in a hospital, or a nursing facility - hospice can be there, too. We provide services to patients in all of Medina County and adjacent areas in Cuyahoga, Wayne, Summit, and Lorain Counties.
