Mission Statement

Be a hospice volunteer and make a difference in someone's life. Jacob Perlow Hospice provides care for terminally ill patients and their loved ones. Volunteers function as members of the hospice interdisciplinary team in all settings where care is provided. Volunteers receive in-depth training and ongoing education. The role of a volunteer may include patient care, family and caregiver support, admministrative support, community outreach, and program development. Volunteers are asked to commit to four hours per week for at least one year. As a volunteer you will receive ongoing support from the hospice staff. Jacob Perlow Hospice serves Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan.
