Mission Statement

No Name Exhibitions is a non-profit visual arts organization dedicated to supporting emerging artists; enhancing the public's understanding and appreciation of their artistic expressions; and fostering strength and vitality within the arts, cultural and educational communities of the Twin Cities. No Name Exhibitions fills a crucial niche in the local arts community by providing unique gallery space for emerging artists. Through the presentation of provocative, exceptional art in a wide range of media and forms, we create an arena for education and interaction between artists and non-artists. We provide opportunities for the public to encounter the aesthetics, cultures, and visions reflected in a variety of artists' work.

Description

Founded in 1988 by local artists as one of the first Twin Cities organizations to regularly provide a venue exclusively devoted to new and emerging visual artists, No Name Exhibitions @ The Soap Factory is now recognized as one of the premier exhibition spaces in the Midwest. The Soap Factory is a stunning, turn-of-the-century wood and brick warehouse with over 40,000 square feet of space. This raw industrial space provides a truly unique showcase for sculpture, video and installation art, as well as traditional gallery space for painting, photography, and other two-dimensional work.
