Description
NSTEP is a national 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that works in partnership with the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) to provide a variety of educational programs and services to students, teachers, youth-based organizations, and corporations who are committed to advancing science and technology education and preparing youth for 21st century technology careers. Our premier program for middle and high school students, called TechXplore, is an innovative online technology education and mentoring program that helps young people develop science knowledge and technology skills while educating them about careers of the future. The objectives of the TechXplore program are to: stimulate excitement about science and technology learning among students; encourage young people to learn about technology companies and careers; provide teachers with an engaging way to integrate technology and the Internet into the curriculum; bring technology-related learning to underserved communities; and help industry members strengthen education in their communities while developing the workforce of the future.
