BUiLD's mission is to operate a community-based home in Berkeley for children and teens with significant developmental disabilities, which draws on the expertise of professionals, while honoring their relationships with families and friends.

Description

The BUiLD House provides an atmosphere that promotes continued family involvement, the least restrictive environment for the clients and subscribes to the principles of normalization. To maintain and enhance the current skills and abilities of the clients, we have developed a skills training program that has been tailored exclusively for him or her. While encouraging independence we promote the community integration of our clients to the fullest extent
