Mission Statement
CforAT's focus is on access to computers and mobile technology for people with disabilities.
We do this so children with disabilities can succeed in school, adults with disabilities can find (and keep) jobs and all people with disabilities can benefit from the digital revolution.
Description
The Center for Accessible Technology is an assistive technology resource, training, and demonstration center for adults and children with disabilities, as well as for families, teachers, and professionals. Assistive Technology (AT) is special computer hardware or software that can make it easier for people with disabilities to use computers and mobile technology.
CforAT also provides business consulting services to corporations, libraries and government entities. We provide assistance on creating accessible websites and mobile apps and have a test bank of users with disabilities to test products and services.
