Mission Statement

The Junior League of Denver, Incorporated (JLD), founded in 1918, is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Description

The Junior League of Denver supports the community by devoting trained volunteers and/or dollars to several projects in the metro Denver community. Membership dues, our famous cookbooks, the annual Holiday Mart, our well known thrift store (the Second Time Shop) and the annual Bridge Marathon provide the financial means to support our purpose and programs.
