Description

IAH responds to the community's diverse needs by providing a safety net of social services and housing that is time-limited and tailored to each family's needs. Currently, the organization provides: Single-family Homeless Housing and Supportive Services, (a combination of housing and on-site supportive services to help families work toward home ownership or other permanent affordable housing); Multi-family Low-income Housing, (228 units for low-income, market rate and very low-income families - a staff social worker coordinates community activities and helps access job training, food stamps and other services); Housing for Elderly, (84 units of new construction, all ADA approved, to be completed in 2003 - service coordination will be available for residents to access resources such as transportation, meals-on-wheels and other relevant services.)
