Volunteer Services offers rewarding volunteer opportunities, which empower volunteers to provide assistance, comfort and compassion to patients, families, visitors and staff here at the Medical Center.

Description

Volunteers are usually in the role of information providers, liaison among visitors, paitients and staff, or as assistants in recreational programs. These positions are social, not medical, in nature. If you are seeking an experience that will expose you to the health care environment, primarily from the perspective of patients and visitors, our volunteer opportunities will interest you. Most volunteer opportunities fall into one of the following program categories: Liaison, Information Desk, Recreation (with adult or pediatric patients), Administrative, Physical/Occupational Therapy, Nutrition, Gift Shop, Greenhouse, Patient Visiting (with adult patients)
