The Church of Ascension is a growing, vibrant Episcopal parish of over 400 people of all ages and backgrounds. The parish is committed to Christian education for all ages as well as ministries to serve the needs of the neighborhood and the world. The Church of the Ascension is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, Region IV. The Diocese of Washington is part of the Episcopal Church in the USA, and of the Anglican Communion worldwide.
