Long Island Natural History Museum

Description

To foster the growth of The Long Island Natural History Museum by providing the Long Island Community with world-wide class exhibits, providing a source for education and entertainment. This is a Museum "for " Long Islanders to see specimens from around the world. Those interested in providing ways for this to blossom are welcome to provide suggestions, leads, donations and services as available. Assistance placing the Museum in discussions in influential circles is also desired. Our current Syosset School District Exhibit is limited to their students/ use. Approval by the Patchogue Village Board was made in March 2002 and a lease was executed in 2003, but issues arose, so a permanent site is still needed.
