The Menare Foundation, Inc. is a national non-profit organization dedicated to the documentation, preservation, and restoration of Underground Railroad safehouses and environments, and to the creation of associated educational programs to support these historical sites. Through assistance and training Menare Foundation, Inc., works nationally with community organizations to preserve the Underground Railroad legacy by using history as a resource for human potential, community revitalization and cultural development.
