Our mission: "The Greater Austin Sports Association works to retain and enhance existing sporting events, and attract new sporting events, to create significant economic impact and increase quality of life in greater Austin."

Description

The GASA is an organization which acts as a liaison to help facilitate, organize, and promote fun, healthy, and exciting sports events in the Austin area. The GASA works in close coordination with some of the most influential organizations in Austin, including the Mayor's office, the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Austin Convention Center, the Austin Parks & Recreation Department, University of Texas Athletics, area professional teams and sports organizations, area media outlets, public relations/advertising firms, and other Austin professional organizations.
