Lodi Arts Commission

Description

The LAC is governed by a body of eleven volunteer commissioners who are appointed by the Mayor to serve two-year terms. The commissioners meet monthly, usually on the second Wednesday, at Hutchins Street Square. In addition to providing quality Student Enrichment and Adult Specialty Art courses, the LAC administers the City's Arts and Cultural grants, the Art in Public Places program, and numerous other projects and events that further the development and public awareness of the fine and performing arts. The LAC also acts in an advisory capacity to the Lodi City Council in connection with the artistic and cultural development of the City.
