Help A Child, Inc.

Description

Help A Chjild serves families in Pinellas County on Florida's West Coast. Services include child abuse prevention using volunteers who work directly with at risk families. We also provide a shaken baby syndrome awareness program to increase awareness of this form of child abuse. Services also include diagnosis and evaluation of children who may be victims of abuse, counseling and famliy support of children who are victims of sexual abuse and a medical foster care program for seriously ill children who are not able to be cared for in their family's home.
