Mission Statement

Peacebuilding Through the Performing Arts. Circle of World Arts is founded on the conviction that when people come together to collaborate and create, all boundaries of culture and politics dissolve. The human drive to create is universal and more powerful than the forces that threaten to tear the world apart: racism, fanaticism, intolerance. We believe that the arts are the ideal medium for openly addressing boundaries of culture and politics, resolving conflict, building consensus and waging peace.

Description

We offer cultural bridge-building WORKSHOPS locally and internationally, introducing participants to what is needed to work towards peace both within oneself and with others by using theatre/dance exercises, journal writing, and collaboration and experience in the other visual arts. We culminate in a winning multi-media performance open to all.We culminate in multi-media performance, exhibits, and concerts open to all.
