Mission Statement

Assisting our local communities with empowering strategies fostering inclusion in local community decision making and planning, while organizing community driven economic development strategies for the benefit of local communities. All community economic development must be local and community driven with inclusion of local community groups. Partnership and collaboration with community organizations are the guiding principals of our assistance.

Description

CFSC works in partnership with local non-profits and Community Development Corporations to expand opportunities for low-resource community members. We work primarily in the area of housing and economic development. Additionally, opportunities exist through our parent organization, which operates a Credit Union, Medical Clinic, and Soup Kitchen in Washington, North Carolina.
