Mission Statement

Since, 1950, the MDA has provideddCentral VA with the most comprehensive services program of any volunteer health agency in the country. From our Richmond district office, MDA serves a 40-county area, including, Richmond, the Tri-Cities, Fredericksburg and Charlottesville. Adults and children affected by neuromuscular diseases, and their families benefit from an array of services, research and other programs.
