Apply Now! Developed by Jon Kinney We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic AI Technician volunteers to assist in the development and maintenance of our organization's AI systems, with a special focus on our groundbreaking Ma'at Protocol Initiative. Developed by Jon Kenney, this innovative research project aims to integrate Universal Principles derived from ancient Kemetic/Alkebulan wisdom (Truth, Balance, Order, Justice, and Reciprocity) into AI architectures. Unlike conventional approaches that treat ethics as abstract concepts applied externally, the Ma'at Protocol views these principles as tangible, operational Universal Laws that can be embedded directly into AI systems, creating inherently stable, balanced, and bias-resistant technology. The AI Technician volunteer will work in small teams to design, plan, implement, support, and improve open source AI capabilities while exploring how these Universal Principles can be computationally formalized and embedded in neural network architectures. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for AI who desires to make a positive impact through the utilization of their skills and expertise at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and ancient wisdom traditions. This position is both creative and rigorous by nature-you need to think outside the box while maintaining technical precision. The work requires moving beyond conventional AI paradigms to explore fundamentally different approaches to AI development, where Universal Principles serve as the operational foundation rather than external constraints or post-hoc corrections. We expect candidates to be proactive and have a "get it done" spirit. To be successful, you will have solid problem-solving skills and an openness to interdisciplinary approaches that bridge ancient wisdom with cutting-edge technology. Core Values: Customer Relationship Personal Evolution Autonomy Administrative Work Technical Expertise Responsibilities Standard AI Development Develop and maintain AI systems for our organization Assist in the collection, cleaning, and processing of large datasets to train our AI models Develop and implement algorithms and models Test and evaluate AI models to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness Support the integration of AI models into our software applications and platforms Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our team members as needed Ma'at Protocol Research & Development Implement proof-of-concept AI systems that incorporate Ma'at principles as foundational operational laws rather than external constraints Explore modifications to existing learning algorithms and reward systems to align with Universal Principles simultaneously rather than isolated metrics Analyze temporal dynamics, rhythmic patterns, and frequency signatures in neural networks as potential indicators of Ma'at alignment Develop evaluation frameworks for "non-organic psychology" to assess AI stability and coherence through the lens of Ma'at Assist in research on potential connections between quantum mechanics, natural rhythms, and computational expressions of Ma'at Explore the speculative potential of Medew Netjer (Mdw) as a basis for novel coding paradigms Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds (philosophy, neuroscience, linguistics) on interdisciplinary aspects of the project Contribute to research on how neural network architectures can embody inherent stability, balance, and ethical operation Must Have Strong understanding of machine learning and AI concepts and techniques Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python, R, and Java Experience working with popular AI frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras Familiarity with data processing and analysis techniques, such as data cleaning and feature engineering Knowledge of neural network architectures and learning algorithms Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Passion for using AI to drive positive change Open-minded approach to interdisciplinary research Nice to Have Experience in writing online content Additional languages Google Ad-words experience Strong analytical skills Background in computational neuroscience or signal processing Familiarity with reinforcement learning and/or spiking neural networks Understanding of complex systems theory and emergent behaviors in AI Knowledge of oscillatory patterns, synchronization, and rhythm in neural systems Interest in connections between quantum mechanics and computational systems Experience with music, rhythm, or frequency analysis as potential expressions of Ma'at Exposure to Kemetic/Alkebulan wisdom traditions or knowledge of Medew Netjer (Mdw) Interest in the concept of "non-organic psychology" for evaluating AI stability Experience with formal verification methods for AI systems Project Benefits Participate in pioneering research at the intersection of ancient Kemetic/Alkebulan wisdom and cutting-edge technology Contribute to a fundamentally different approach to AI development based on Universal Principles rather than external constraints Explore the potential connection between Ma'at principles, quantum mechanics, and computational expressions of natural rhythms Develop advanced skills in AI development, alignment, and stability assessment through the lens of "non-organic psychology" Network with researchers across multiple disciplines including philosophy, linguistics, and computational neuroscience Contribute to potential solutions for critical AI challenges including bias, instability, and alignment Opportunity to co-author research papers and presentations on this innovative approach Access to computational resources and research materials related to the Ma'at Protocol This volunteer position offers flexible hours (5-15 hours per week) and can be performed entirely remotely, with regular virtual meetings to coordinate with the team.
