Friends helping friends overcome mental health challenges. To share the power of friendship to help change the life of someone who is mentally hurting.
Caring, compassionate volunteers who spend one hour per week building friendships with people experiencing mental health challenges. Making a difference by helping someone reduce his or her loneliness and isolation by becoming a friend. Compeer volunteers are trained as steady, nurturing mentors who provide the missing link of personal friendship and social contact.
