Sexual Assault Resource Center

Mission Statement

The Sexual Assault Resource Center provides a support system for survivors of rape and sexual assault. It also acts as a referral and information source for the entire community about the issues through workshops, public speaking, advertising, and media presentations. Because sexual violence is intolerable and must bear the full consequences of the law if it is to be eradicated, SARC works with the judicial system to bring the criminal impact of sexual violence to public understanding. In recognizing that all survivors - regardless of race, gender, ethnic diversity, color, creed, religion, economic status, sexual orientation, age or disability - are vulnerable to abuse, we seek out all women and men to aid us in ending violence.
