Description

Aki Kurose Middle School in Seattle, WA needs volunteers to read with our 6th grade students one-on-one on Read Across America Day, March 2, 2004. This day, Dr. Suess's birthday was chosen to be a time for all members of our community to focus on the importance that reading has in our lives. A real connection with an adult reader outside of the school opens a student's mind to the reality of us living in a strongly literate society. Please call (206) 252-7700 or email djarya@seattleschools.org.
