Mission Statement

The Round Rock Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) is a non-profit organization of men and women between the ages of 21 and 39 dedicated to developing leadership skills, management skills and civic responsibility among its members primarily through community service projects in the Round Rock community. The Jaycee Creed: We believe that faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life. That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations. That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise. That government should be of laws rather than of men. That earth's great treasure lies in human personality. And that service to humanity is the best work of life.

Description

In an environment that fosters true friendship, the Round Rock Jaycees offer the best opportunities for business and career development and community action to men and women 21 to 39 years of age. The Round Rock Jaycees gives young people the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections. We are young adults who want to make a positive difference in our community. We are also friends who have a lot of fun together, whether we are participating in a community service project, planning a seminar, going to a party, or playing softball. Much of the leadership training is accomplished through planning and participating in community service and fund-raising activities. Other leadership skills are learned by attending and presenting at individual development and team building seminars, teaching skills to newer members, and serving on the Board of Directors.
