Mission Statement

The Community Group manages and provides support functions to a range of quality programs of education:

• Community Day Care: Early education - school age child care programs

• Community Day Charter Public School: Grades K-8

• Community Partners Initiative: Data and management services for schools

• Child Care Circuit: Child care information, tuition subsidies, and professional development for educators

• Arlington Community of Excellence: The Promise Neighborhood of Lawrence, Massachusetts

Since 1969

The Community Group is a private, non-profit agency based in Lawrence, Massachusetts. With the commitment and support of an outstanding board of directors comprised of parents, educators, and legal and financial professionals and the entrepreneurship of its executive director and committed staff, the agency has grown and expanded over the years from its early start as a small preschool day care program.
