Description
The Des Plaines Community Foundation was established in 2003 as a non-profit 501(c3)a organization to raise funds to identify, link and mobilize community assets that will benefit all people of Des Plaines. These funds are not available through local tax revenues. To date, the Foundation has been able to leverage every dollar donated to programs to create $12 in value added to the community in the form of service and product. 12 to 1 on investment. We are able to do this because we are all volunteers.
