Mission Statement
The Community Integrated Health Partnership's core mission is to help those community centers that deliver vital health care to Marylanders most in need.
Based in Baltimore, Maryland, our nonprofit, Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN) provides essential business services and support to nine community health centers providing care in 47 locations with over 130 providers throughout the state.
Through CHIP’s initiatives, these centers can better manage economic and regulatory issues to provide Maryland’s uninsured and low-income residents with improved access to high quality, affordable health care.
Description
As a leader and advocate for quality community health care in Maryland, CHIP provides community health centers with the business expertise to achieve the shared goal of quality improvement in the care they deliver. In doing so, we give these centers access to higher levels of sophisticated health information technology (HIT) and management services than they could achieve and maintain individually.
Our two central areas of focus are:
• Services that enhance the quality of operations and/or clinical care
• Access to health information technology (HIT)
******CHIP is proud to announce that it is sponsoring the Community HealthCorps in Maryland. We are currently enrolling members for this AmeriCorps-affiliated program. Community HealthCorps members work with medically underserved men, women and children to ensure access to health care services.
