Mission Statement

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Resources is dedicated to providing high quality recreation, educational and cultural services and facilities that encourage individual growth and promote a sense of community belonging and pride. Staff is committed to cultivating and protecting Arlington's natural resources; promoting ethnic and cultural diversity; and working as partners with public and private organizations to preserve the County as a safe, caring and healthy community.

Description

Our Visual Art Volunteer Program is a community outreach program of the Arlington County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Resources. This program provides oppurtunities for participatory arts experiences for underserved populations in Alington County.
